Game input holds PET matrix keys down until you physically release them, which is best for arcade games. Type input keeps the original short-tap queue for entering BASIC commands.
Charset Auto lets PET software switch normally. Graphics or Business forces the selected character ROM for compatibility/testing.
Changing RAM or ROM resets the PET. Some programs need ROM2/ROM4 or 16K/32K.
The sound slider controls the emulated PET VIA speaker. Modern browsers require a click before audio can start, so Start Game also enables audio.
The emulator has an IEEE-488 device at address 8 for loading/saving .prg files.

Game Notes
Flap up. Come down on top of the other bird. That's the whole game.
You ride a big bird over a set of rocky ledges with lava at the bottom. Other birds fly in and try to knock you off. Whoever is higher when you bump wins, so it's all about timing your flaps and picking your moment. Beat a rider and he drops an egg. Grab the egg fast and you get more points. Leave it too long and it hatches, and now you have to fight him all over again.
Tap the flap key to climb. Tap it too little and you sink into the lava. Tap it too much and you're stuck up at the ceiling with no room to swoop. Finding that rhythm is the fun part, and it only takes a minute or two to get.
Later on it gets busier. Some waves are nothing but eggs. Some throw a very fast bird at you that does not care about your feelings. A bridge falls apart. Something lives in the lava and it will grab your legs if you fly too low.
No blood, no gore, no reading required past the title screen. Two directions and one button. Little ones can play it standing at the keyboard, and it's short enough that losing isn't a big deal — you just start again.
Controls
A / D or keypad 4 / 6 — steer
SPACE or keypad 8 — flap
STOP — back to the title, or out of the game
On the title screen:
KEYPAD 2 — switch between keyboard + joystick and SNES pad
KEYPAD 4 — set up your joystick (it learns whatever your adapter is wired as)
KEYPAD 6 — sound on or off
Joystick support is for the Stupid PET Tricks style userport adapter, and there's SNES pad support on the same port. If your stick is wired oddly, run the setup and it will figure out your buttons.
Needs
A 16K or 32K PET (3032 / 4032, 40 column). Runs on real hardware and in VICE.
